Proudly, in the communities close to our exploration activities, our team is implementing multiple ESG standard activities such as waste management projects, community forums and rehabilitation plans learned during the recent ESG Workshop at the Resource Connect Asia event in Singapore.
In many parts of the world, company exploration activities have been hampered when local communities have not been adequately communicated with and consulted on the impacts that might affect their everyday lives.
Having an environmentally conscious board of directors including some from the tourism and education sector of Laos means that concerns for the well-being of communities affected by exploration and mining are driven from the top. Some team members have first-hand experience living in mining communities impacted during Southeast Asia typhoons which further drives the company’s sensitivities to difficulties that can be faced by local communities. With this in mind, Annamite has already initiated programs to support the community through education, commitment to their safety, and to promoting their livelihood as well.
Proudly, in the communities close to our exploration activities, our team is implementing multiple ESG standard activities such as waste management projects, community forums and rehabilitation plans learned during the recent ESG Workshop at the Resource Connect Asia event in Singapore.
Through these conscious initiatives of the company, Annamite Resources will continuously invest both in the well-being of the local communities while helping Loas progress economically.
