Christopher, minerals financier & economist, ran business development for natural resources for the IFC (International Finance Corporation) out of London office from 2006-2010, IFC is private sector arm of the World Bank Group, and is a major private sector investor in mining in emerging markets. Earlier he led IFC mining transactions in Africa, Russia, Central Asia and and Latin America. Prior, he advised African governments in natural resource policy and, negotiations in Ghana, Tanzania, Mozambique and Swaziland. From 2010—2017 he was on the board of and latterly Non Executive Chairman of Triple Plate Junction, now Tethyan Resources, which was listed on AIM in London.

On Monday 12 February evening, Annamite Resources recently hosted a Cocktail Event to celebrate our remarkable journey and share the milestones of the company. The event was held at the Visaya Building Terrace, where our office is located, overlooking the Mekong River.
Annamite Resources is the first mover in Laos in the minerals exploration sector, aiming at unravelling the significant potential for critical metals. We feel that exploration and mining done to the highest standards can foster sustainable growth and economic support. With a commitment to environmental stewardship and community engagement, the company has already set itself apart as a beacon of responsible
exploration practices in the Hinherb District with significant activities during the last 2 years on the Sokdee Project.
As guests mingled and savoured delectable refreshments, they were presented treated the journey through the Annamite’s achievements. From ground-breaking discoveries to using innovative technologies from our service providers, we are proud to have continuously pushed the boundaries of exploration, unlocking the full potential of Laos' rich natural resources.
Through strategic partnerships and bold investments both from local private investors to international major mining company, Annamite Resources has overcome challenges in exploring remote areas.
One of the highlights of the evening was the slideshow of photos showcasing the company's impact on the local communities. Through our activities on the ground and corporate social responsibility programs, we are humbled to have made significant contributions to improving the livelihoods of the families in the area.
