Christopher, minerals financier & economist, ran business development for natural resources for the IFC (International Finance Corporation) out of London office from 2006-2010, IFC is private sector arm of the World Bank Group, and is a major private sector investor in mining in emerging markets. Earlier he led IFC mining transactions in Africa, Russia, Central Asia and and Latin America. Prior, he advised African governments in natural resource policy and, negotiations in Ghana, Tanzania, Mozambique and Swaziland. From 2010—2017 he was on the board of and latterly Non Executive Chairman of Triple Plate Junction, now Tethyan Resources, which was listed on AIM in London.

Annamite Resources is pleased to announce the successful completion of scout drilling program for 2023 at its Sokdee Project in Laos, that were undertaken with technical and financial support from Rio Tinto Exploration. The program included four diamond drilling (DD) drill holes, totalling around 1,500 meters in depth, with the longest hole reaching 429 meters.
Mouk Prospect:
The drilling program included the successful initial testing of the Mouk Prospect with three holes testing the potential for porphyry-style Cu-Au mineralisation beneath the extensive surface soil anomaly that had been identified. Visual observations of the RC drill chips suggest the presence of minor veining and sulphides, with geochemical assays awaited which will guide the further work at this prospect.
Namthom Prospect:
In addition to the progress at the Mouk Prospect, a further hole was drilled in the southern part of the Namthon Prospect, which was subject to previous drilling by Annamite in 2022.
